Best practice: Our employees report from their daily business
Which CO2 footprint do our uvex safety products leave behind, for example? What does sustainable construction look like for the major new logistics centre project? And what role does sustainability play in our canteen at the company site in Fürth?
In our videos, uvex group employees report on how they implement sustainability issues in their day-to-day work.
CO2 footprint
Daniel Sperr and his colleagues are responsible for calculating the CO2 footprint of uvex safety products. From the materials used to disposal, all information is collected and then used to calculate the individual CO2 footprint.
Logistik 2024
Thomas Torsten Heinicke is Project Manager Logistics and is responsible for the construction of the new logistics and service centre in Rednitzhembach. Particularly important in this major project: a sustainable focus. Green roofs, solar panels and building insulation are just a few examples of the list of sustainable measures that were implemented.
uvexeria
In the uvexeria canteen at the company's Fürth site, we use reusable containers from regional suppliers, utilise used fats, serve delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and much more. Together with Tanja Trunk and Christian Sippel, we take a look behind the scenes.
