uvex downhill 2100 CV planet
It doesn’t get greener than this: the new uvex downhill 2100 CV planet proves that sustainability and top performance also go hand-in-hand when it comes to ski goggles. From the lens to the strap, bio-based and recycled materials are consistently used in this model. Moreover, these goggles also perform incredibly well out on the slopes and in the powder thanks to the cutting-edge technology that has gone into their design: the innovative uvex colorvision® colour and contrast filter guarantees the best possible view of the piste ahead – as is also the case with the oversized lens featuring anti-fog uvex supravison® technology. The frame is made of bio-based TPU, while water-based paints give the goggles their colour. The breathable foam attached to the frame is also bio-based, as are both the lens (bio-based PA) and logo patch on the strap (bio-based apple leather). The strap itself is made from recycled nylon, while recycled fabric is also used in the temperature-regulating membrane of the new uvex downhill 2100 CV planet.
The environmentally friendly concept has been consistently applied to all aspects of this product, including the packaging: the uvex downhill 2100 CV planet is delivered in a recycled paper box, while the box itself is screen-printed using water-based ink.
(Re-)Cycle your city: uvex urban planet
Progressive, stylish and sustainable: the uvex urban planet is the future of super-safe city helmets and relies on recycled and bio-based materials. Conceived from scratch, clean in design and uncompromising in its function, the hardshell helmet produced entirely in uvex's own factories in Germany is a minor sensation: for the first time, it is possible to recycle the helmet components at the end of the product life cycle using detachable joining techniques. An enormous step towards a more circular economy in cycling helmets. But the uvex urban planet also knows how to impress on the bike. The robust hardshell helmet, whose outer shell is made of bio-based HDPE, fits perfectly in every situation.
The individual size adjustment is made in height and width via the well-known 3D IAS. Inside, a floating liner made of recycled material ensures maximum wearing comfort. Ventilation is provided by 14 generous ventilation openings. The safety package includes the deep-drawn rear area, the mini-brim on the forehead and the side temple protection. The reflective webbing and chin padding are also made of recycled material.
The sustainable city helmet is delivered in a fully recyclable cardboard box made from grass and scrap paper. Clever: the uvex urban planet is prepared for the use of an optionally available plug-in LED at the back of the head. In the uvex urban planet LED variant, the new city helmet is also available with an integrated LED.
uvex sportstyle RXd planet
Sports eyewear with direct glazing: the uvex sportstyle RX planet line – engineered in Germany – is made from recycled material obtained from the airbag industry and features bio-based lenses (with 100% UVA, UVB, UVC protection up to 400 nm). There are two frame models (uvex sportstyle RXd 4001 / 4003 planet) in the “matt black / natural brown” colourway. Classically shaped with base curve 8, the shatterproof plastic frames used in the uvex planet line offer a wide field of vision, while soft adjustable nose pads and non-slip sidearms guarantee a high degree of wearer comfort. In the interests of sustainability, no paint or polish is used for these models. Each piece is unique and what’s more: the environment is protected.
uvex ocean series P & 2P
Fewer ghost nets in our oceans. More protection for our planet and its inhabitants. With the uvex ocean series, we are making an important contribution to the preservation of our environment. For our sustainable sports and lifestyle eyewear collection, we recycle abandoned plastic fishing nets and use no petroleum in the manufacture of our "green" products. In this way, we achieve a CO2 saving of up to 55 percent compared to conventional eyewear – and protect not only numerous marine creatures such as turtles and dolphins, but also the climate. Because protection means sustainability.

For perfect dexterity control. A riding glove with sustainable components, without compromising on performance and comfort: That is the uvex vida planet. This is a lightweight and functional summer glove, which in total consists of more than 55% recycled components. Recycled nylon on the back of the hand and highly abrasion-resistant material from recycled water bottles on the palm combined with dimensionally stable high-end stretch. In addition, reinforced zones on rein-guiding areas, maximum UVA, UVB and UVC protection as well as particularly non-slip material in the palm, for maximum grip and perfect rein guidance even in wet conditions. uvex vida planet - because we love the planet.
